Amadagana & Partners has participated to the UK-Cameroon Green Economy Symposium on 21st February 2024.

Amadagana & Partners was honored to participate to the UK-Cameroon Green Economy Symposium organized by the UK High Commission at the Starland Hotel in Yaoundé on 21st February 2024.

Our Managing Partner Lynda Amadagana moderated a panel on “The impact of UK-Cameroon collaborations to drive sustainable endeavours” with Philip Foster, CEO of Aqua Africa, Abdoul MBODJI Exploration Manager of Oriole Resources PLC, and Jonathan Monthe Siewe, Project Manager at Savannah Energy with the presence of the representatives of the Ministry of Energy and Ministry of Economy, the UK High Commissioner and the UKCCC chairman.

The panelists shared insights on the various initiatives implemented to contribute to a greener economy in Cameroon throughout the whole value chain (internal policies, ESG plans, suppliers sourcing, communities involvement) and the public sector policies (tax and other incentives) and private sector tools (financing instruments, green bonds) needed to reach the target of a sustainable economy.

We are delighted to contribute to the goal of a greener, more sustainable economy in Cameroon 🇨🇲
