Lynda Amadagana moderated a panel during the Cameroon International & Mining Convention

During the 2nd day of the 4th Cameroon International Mining & Exhibition Convention (CIMEC 2024) from 22-24th May 2024 in Yaoundé, Cameroon, our Managing Partner, Lynda Amadagana, had the honor to moderate a panel on Financing Mining Projects.

The panelists presented several approaches to the financing from the State’s, international lenders and sponsors’ perspectives as well as domestic financing being complementary to long-term funding. The tax impact of these transactions was also presented and the importance of an efficient tax structuring.

Congratulations to the Ministry of Mines and to the organizers of this event which highlights the sector’s potential and progress.
