Amadagana & Partners Advises Actis on Strategic Sale of 51% Stake in Eneo Cameroon to the State
Amadagana & Partners is proud to have provided legal advice to Actis Investment Fund in connection with the first stage of the strategic sale of its 51% stake in Eneo Cameroon S.A. to the State of Cameroon, represented by the Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Energy in Cameroon, in a transaction worth 78 billion CFA francs, the contract for which was signed after several years of negotiations.
Our firm worked alongside teams from Actis and Cameroon Power Holdings and financial advisor FINANCIA Capital, in coordination with advisors from the Cameroonian government as part of the interministerial committee responsible for negotiations under the leadership of the Ministry of Finance.
The firm's team consisted of our partners Lynda Amadagana and Elise NGO NYOBE, and our associates Kevin Djomgoue and Cécile Daniele BELLA.
This rigorous and collaborative approach has enabled the completion of the first stage of an operation with major national implications, which will be finalized shortly once the conditions set out therein have been met.
Amadagana & Partners would like to thank Actis for its renewed trust and commend the commitment of all stakeholders in this transaction, which will shape the future of Cameroon's energy sector.
